Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Human wave Machine by Tala Madani was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Christies in London in June this year. The price achieved of GBP 22,680.00 (€ 26,395.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tala Madani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Elastic Pink, which sold at auction in February 2015 for GBP 47,500.00 (€ 65,495.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Human wave Machine von Tala Madani wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.680,00 (€ 26.395,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tala Madani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Elastic Pink beobachtet, die im Februar 2015 für GBP 47.500,00 (€ 65.495,45) versteigert wurde.
