This artwork by Tala Madani achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in February 2015. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Elastic Pink sold for GBP 47,500.00 (€ 65,495.45) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. This high result makes Elastic Pink the most expensive artwork by Tala Madani that we have observed at auctions so far.
