Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Jihad Pop - Interior by Tahera Seher Shah for USD 250.00 (€ 220.61). This price was achieved in the auction The Collection of Melva Bucksbaum: Post-War and Contemporary Art, Photographs and Prints at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tahera Seher Shah achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Monumental Fantasies - Impermanence I in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,718.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Jihad Pop - Interior von Tahera Seher Shah für USD 250,00 (€ 220,61) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Collection of Melva Bucksbaum: Post-War and Contemporary Art, Photographs and Prints bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tahera Seher Shah erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Monumental Fantasies - Impermanence I im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 26.718,92).
