Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Tahera Seher Shah could be acquired at Christies in New York in October 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Collection of Melva Bucksbaum: Post-War and Contemporary Art, Photographs and Prints auction, the work Jihad Pop - Control Line II changed hands for USD 250.00 (€ 220.61) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tahera Seher Shah achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Monumental Fantasies - Impermanence I in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,718.92).
