Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Tadeusz Kantor was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 1,500,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,006.53) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tadeusz Kantor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Emballages, objets, personnages n. 5 in December 2018 with an auction result of EUR 247,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Tadeusz Kantor kam im Juni 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 1.500.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 24.006,53) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tadeusz Kantor erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Emballages, objets, personnages n. 5 im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 247.500,00.
