Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Polish abstract by Tadeusz Kantor was sold in the 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective auction at Sothebys in London in November 2018. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,279.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tadeusz Kantor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Emballages, objets, personnages n. 5 in December 2018 with an auction result of EUR 247,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Polish abstract von Tadeusz Kantor wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.279,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tadeusz Kantor erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Emballages, objets, personnages n. 5 im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 247.500,00.
