Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work "Koperta" (Kuvert) from the Emballages series. by Tadeusz Kantor was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2018. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 400,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 440,000.00 (€ 42,706.00). Admittedly, works by Tadeusz Kantor have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Emballages, objets, personnages n. 5 in December 2018 with an auction result of EUR 247,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit "Koperta" (Kuvert) from the Emballages series. von Tadeusz Kantor kam im November 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 400.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 440.000,00 (€ 42.706,00) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tadeusz Kantor auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Emballages, objets, personnages n. 5 im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 247.500,00.
