Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tadeusz Kantor achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2020. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work "peinture Y" sold for SEK 720,000.00 (€ 70,385.00) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tadeusz Kantor - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Emballages, objets, personnages n. 5, which sold at auction in December 2018 for EUR 247,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tadeusz Kantor erzielte im November 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wurde die Arbeit "peinture Y" für SEK 720.000,00 (€ 70.385,00) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 300.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tadeusz Kantor mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Emballages, objets, personnages n. 5 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2018 für EUR 247.500,00 versteigert wurde.
