Estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2019 Ketterer in Munich held the auction Kunst nach 1945 / Zeitgenössische Kunst II, which included the work Informal by Tadeusz Kantor. Here, the estimate of EUR 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tadeusz Kantor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Emballages, objets, personnages n. 5 in December 2018 with an auction result of EUR 247,500.00.
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2019 führte Ketterer in München die Auktion Kunst nach 1945 / Zeitgenössische Kunst II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Informal von Tadeusz Kantor zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von EUR 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 20.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tadeusz Kantor erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Emballages, objets, personnages n. 5 im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 247.500,00.
