This artwork by Tadeusz Kantor achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in February 2016. In the Impressionist & Modern Art & Picasso Ceramics auction, the work without title sold for GBP 40,000.00 (€ 51,255.06) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tadeusz Kantor have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Emballages, objets, personnages n. 5 in December 2018 with an auction result of EUR 247,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tadeusz Kantor erzielte im Februar 2016 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art & Picasso Ceramics wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 40.000,00 (€ 51.255,06) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tadeusz Kantor auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Emballages, objets, personnages n. 5 im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 247.500,00.
