Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Dong Dajie I, Wuzhen, Zhejiang Province by Sze Tsung Leong for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,079.52). This price was achieved in the auction First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Sze Tsung Leong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Guanajuato I, from Cities, 2009 in April 2017 with an auction result of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,620.47).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Dong Dajie I, Wuzhen, Zhejiang Province von Sze Tsung Leong für USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.079,52) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sze Tsung Leong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Guanajuato I, from Cities, 2009 im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.620,47).
