Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plaça del joc de la pilota (Ballgame in the Plaza) by Susana Solano was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April 2019. The price achieved of USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,339.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Susana Solano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La lluna N.1 in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 36,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Plaça del joc de la pilota (Ballgame in the Plaza) von Susana Solano kam im April 2019 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.339,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Susana Solano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La lluna N.1 im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 36.000,00.
