Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2008 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale (Afternoon Session), which included the work FV 3690 D (from Serie Paisatge d'Interior) by Susana Solano. It changed hands for a price of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 11,444.66) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Susana Solano - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La lluna N.1, which sold at auction in October 2005 for EUR 36,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale (Afternoon Session) durch, in der auch die Arbeit FV 3690 D (from Serie Paisatge d'Interior) von Susana Solano zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 11.444,66) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Susana Solano mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La lluna N.1 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2005 für EUR 36.000,00 versteigert wurde.
