Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Memento...M by Susan Hiller was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2012. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,198.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Susan Hiller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Inside A Cave Home, Coober Pedy South Australian Desert in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 25,537.11).

Die Arbeit Memento...M von Susan Hiller kam im März 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.198,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Susan Hiller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Inside A Cave Home, Coober Pedy South Australian Desert im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 25.537,11).
