The work Dedicated to the Unknown Artist; Addenda 4, Section 1: The Waves Break by Susan Hiller was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary ArtDay Auction auction at Christies in London in February 2011. The auction ended at the price of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,067.50), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Susan Hiller - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Inside A Cave Home, Coober Pedy South Australian Desert, which sold at auction in October 2014 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 25,537.11).

Die Arbeit Dedicated to the Unknown Artist; Addenda 4, Section 1: The Waves Break von Susan Hiller wurde im Februar 2011 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary ArtDay Auction bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 7.067,50) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Susan Hiller mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Inside A Cave Home, Coober Pedy South Australian Desert beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 25.537,11) versteigert wurde.
