Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Homage to Yves Klein: Levitation (Child) by Susan Hiller for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,843.97). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Susan Hiller have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2014 by the work Inside A Cave Home, Coober Pedy South Australian Desert at GBP 20,000.00 (€ 25,537.11).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Homage to Yves Klein: Levitation (Child) von Susan Hiller für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.843,97) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Susan Hiller wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober 2014 die Arbeit Inside A Cave Home, Coober Pedy South Australian Desert mit GBP 20.000,00 (€ 25.537,11).
