This work without title by Sue Williams was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2018. It achieved a price of USD 1,188.00 (€ 1,048.36), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 32%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sue Williams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work New Yellow and Orange in September this year with an auction result of USD 127,000.00 (€ 119,992.44).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sue Williams kam im Oktober 2018 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.188,00 (€ 1.048,36) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 32%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sue Williams erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit New Yellow and Orange im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 127.000,00 (€ 119.992,44).
