The work From the Train Window by Sudjana Kerton was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. The result of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,337.22) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sudjana Kerton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Village Life in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 13,240,000.00 (€ 1,231,405.91).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit From the Train Window von Sudjana Kerton kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.337,22) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sudjana Kerton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Village Life im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 13.240.000,00 (€ 1.231.405,91).
