In October 2007 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work L.R. by Stephen Conroy. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 86,900.00 (€ 124,794.12), 45% above the upper estimate. With this result, L.R. is even the most expensive work of art by Stephen Conroy that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit L.R. von Stephen Conroy zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 86.900,00 (€ 124.794,12) und damit 45% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist L.R. sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Stephen Conroy, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
