The work Study - Abstract Painting by Stephen Conroy was sold in the The Scottish Sale auction at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October 2020. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,437.50 (€ 4,927.47), 48% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stephen Conroy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L.R. in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 86,900.00 (€ 124,794.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 48 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Study - Abstract Painting von Stephen Conroy wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion The Scottish Sale bei Bonhams in Edinburgh versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.437,50 (€ 4.927,47) und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stephen Conroy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L.R. im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 86.900,00 (€ 124.794,12).
