Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Scottish Art, which included the work Study For Resolve: In A Sea Of Trouble He Tries To Scale The Wind by Stephen Conroy. The price achieved of GBP 8,190.00 (€ 9,142.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stephen Conroy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L.R. in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 86,900.00 (€ 124,794.12).
