Auction result well in line with expectations
The work J.K. II by Stephen Conroy was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 25,200.00 (€ 29,587.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Stephen Conroy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L.R. in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 86,900.00 (€ 124,794.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit J.K. II von Stephen Conroy kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.200,00 (€ 29.587,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stephen Conroy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L.R. im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 86.900,00 (€ 124.794,12).
