Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Figure In Landscape by Stephen Conroy was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 32,760.00 (€ 36,571.22). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stephen Conroy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L.R., which sold at auction in October 2007 for GBP 86,900.00 (€ 124,794.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Figure In Landscape von Stephen Conroy kam im November 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 32.760,00 (€ 36.571,22) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Stephen Conroy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L.R. beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für GBP 86.900,00 (€ 124.794,12) versteigert wurde.
