This artwork by Stefan Brüggemann achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in June 2016. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Mirror 20 sold for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 45,012.24) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stefan Brüggemann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mirror 26, which sold at auction in October 2021 for GBP 151,200.00 (€ 179,131.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Stefan Brüggemann erzielte im Juni 2016 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Mirror 20 für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 45.012,24) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Stefan Brüggemann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mirror 26 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für GBP 151.200,00 (€ 179.131,16) versteigert wurde.
