Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December last year Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work IR-40-6 by Stanley Casselman. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 11,340.00 (€ 12,801.76). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stanley Casselman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work IR-40-16 in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 134,500.00 (€ 189,643.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit IR-40-6 von Stanley Casselman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 11.340,00 (€ 12.801,76) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stanley Casselman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit IR-40-16 im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 134.500,00 (€ 189.643,31).
