Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2020 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Phillips x Artsy: Endless Summer, which included the work Luminor-4-40 by Stanley Casselman. The price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 14,934.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stanley Casselman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work IR-40-16 in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 134,500.00 (€ 189,643.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2020 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Phillips x Artsy: Endless Summer durch, in der auch die Arbeit Luminor-4-40 von Stanley Casselman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 14.934,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stanley Casselman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit IR-40-16 im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 134.500,00 (€ 189.643,31).
