The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,215.85), 61% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stanley Casselman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work IR-40-16 in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 134,500.00 (€ 189,643.31).

Die Arbeit Inhaling Richter 44-23 von Stanley Casselman wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.215,85) und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stanley Casselman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit IR-40-16 im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 134.500,00 (€ 189.643,31).
