Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Stanley Casselman could be acquired at Phillips in 17 - in July this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction auction, the work IR-45-14 changed hands for USD 3,810.00 (€ 3,457.35) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stanley Casselman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work IR-40-16 in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 134,500.00 (€ 189,643.31).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stanley Casselman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit IR-40-16 im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 134.500,00 (€ 189.643,31).
