Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work IR-43 by Stanley Casselman. The price achieved of GBP 15,120.00 (€ 16,789.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stanley Casselman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work IR-40-16 in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 134,500.00 (€ 189,643.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit IR-43 von Stanley Casselman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.120,00 (€ 16.789,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stanley Casselman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit IR-40-16 im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 134.500,00 (€ 189.643,31).
