Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in London held the auction The Astute EyeContemporary Art from a Private London Collector Online, which included the work IR-30-2 by Stanley Casselman. The price achieved of GBP 5,737.50 (€ 6,648.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stanley Casselman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work IR-40-16 in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 134,500.00 (€ 189,643.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The Astute EyeContemporary Art from a Private London Collector Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit IR-30-2 von Stanley Casselman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.737,50 (€ 6.648,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stanley Casselman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit IR-40-16 im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 134.500,00 (€ 189.643,31).
