Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work I Love Bugs by Squeak Carnwath for USD 573.75 (€ 487.30). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples Online at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Squeak Carnwath achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dress Memory, 1998 in October 2018 with an auction result of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,376.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit I Love Bugs von Squeak Carnwath für USD 573,75 (€ 487,30) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints & Multiples Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Squeak Carnwath erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dress Memory, 1998 im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 9.376,10).
