Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Prints & Multiples Online, which included the work 360 Degrees by Squeak Carnwath. The price achieved of USD 701.25 (€ 595.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Squeak Carnwath achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dress Memory, 1998 in October 2018 with an auction result of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,376.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Prints & Multiples Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit 360 Degrees von Squeak Carnwath zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 701,25 (€ 595,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Squeak Carnwath erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dress Memory, 1998 im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 9.376,10).
