Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Halves not Halves, 1993 by Squeak Carnwath was sold in the Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in June 2020. The price achieved of USD 10,075.00 (€ 8,970.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Squeak Carnwath have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2018 the work Dress Memory, 1998 was auctioned for USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,376.10).
