The work Homework by Squeak Carnwath was sold in the First Open: Summer Edition auction at Christies in New York in July 2013. It changed hands for a price of USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,176.18) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Squeak Carnwath have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2018 the work Dress Memory, 1998 was auctioned for USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,376.10).
