The work Maquette for Hasidic Head by Sorel Etrog was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. It achieved a price of USD 8,190.00 (€ 6,974.37), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sorel Etrog achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Family Group in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 161,000.00 (€ 118,330.15).

Die Arbeit Maquette for Hasidic Head von Sorel Etrog kam im März 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.190,00 (€ 6.974,37) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sorel Etrog erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Family Group im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 161.000,00 (€ 118.330,15).
