In December 2015 Christies in London held the auction Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art, which included the work The Judgement Of Paris by Solomon Joseph Solomon. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 188,500.00 (€ 255,973.94), 26% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Solomon Joseph Solomon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Eve, which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 975,000.00 (€ 819,465.46).

Im Dezember 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Judgement Of Paris von Solomon Joseph Solomon zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 188.500,00 (€ 255.973,94) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Solomon Joseph Solomon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Eve beobachtet, die im November 2017 für USD 975.000,00 (€ 819.465,46) versteigert wurde.
