In November 2013 Christies in London held the auction Victorian, British and Impressionist Art, which included the work Washerwomen At Antibes; And Similar by Solomon Joseph Solomon. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,025.25), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Solomon Joseph Solomon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eve in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 975,000.00 (€ 819,465.46).

Im November 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Victorian, British and Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Washerwomen At Antibes; And Similar von Solomon Joseph Solomon zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.025,25) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Solomon Joseph Solomon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eve im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 975.000,00 (€ 819.465,46).
