This artwork by Solomon Joseph Solomon achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July 2018. In the Victorian Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art auction, the work Self-portrait, circa 1896 sold for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 77,083.87) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Solomon Joseph Solomon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eve in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 975,000.00 (€ 819,465.46).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Solomon Joseph Solomon erzielte im Juli 2018 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
