Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paisley King and Queen Blue by Sokari Douglas Camp was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2018. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,412.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sokari Douglas Camp - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Naked Fish, which sold at auction in March 2019 for GBP 13,812.00 (€ 16,031.17).
