Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Summer Meadow by David Murray was sold in the The Scottish Sale auction at Christies in London in March 2005. The price achieved of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,398.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Murray achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers Of The Field in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 73,250.00 (€ 81,037.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Summer Meadow von David Murray wurde im März 2005 in der Auktion The Scottish Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 960,00 (€ 1.398,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Murray erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers Of The Field im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 73.250,00 (€ 81.037,51).
