Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hampshire by David Murray was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2013. The price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,785.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Murray have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers Of The Field in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 73,250.00 (€ 81,037.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hampshire von David Murray kam im November 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.785,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Murray auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers Of The Field im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 73.250,00 (€ 81.037,51).
