This artwork by David Murray achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2011. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work A walk in the country sold for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,395.28) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Murray achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers Of The Field in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 73,250.00 (€ 81,037.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von David Murray erzielte im Dezember 2011 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wurde die Arbeit A walk in the country für GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.395,28) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Murray erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers Of The Field im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 73.250,00 (€ 81.037,51).
