The result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,949.98) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Murray have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers Of The Field in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 73,250.00 (€ 81,037.51).
