The work Across the River by David Murray was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2010. The result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,949.98) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Murray have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers Of The Field in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 73,250.00 (€ 81,037.51).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Across the River von David Murray kam im November 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.949,98) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Murray auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers Of The Field im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 73.250,00 (€ 81.037,51).
