Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Introductory Logic Video Tutorial Double Canvas: Validity by Simon Denny. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 15,948.72) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Simon Denny - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Backdated NFT/Ethereum Stamp, which sold at auction in June 2021 for USD 37,800.00 (€ 31,904.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Introductory Logic Video Tutorial Double Canvas: Validity von Simon Denny zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 15.948,72) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Simon Denny mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Backdated NFT/Ethereum Stamp beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für USD 37.800,00 (€ 31.904,12) versteigert wurde.
