The result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,001.63) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Simon Denny have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Backdated NFT/Ethereum Stamp in June 2021 with an auction result of USD 37,800.00 (€ 31,904.12).

Die Arbeit Multimedia Aquarium 4: Stupor von Simon Denny wurde im Juni 2016 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.001,63) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Simon Denny auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Backdated NFT/Ethereum Stamp im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.800,00 (€ 31.904,12).
