Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Startup Custom Case: Seedcamp Accelerator by Simon Denny was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York auction at Phillips in 7 - in December this year. The price achieved of USD 8,890.00 (€ 8,036.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Simon Denny - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Backdated NFT/Ethereum Stamp, which sold at auction in June 2021 for USD 37,800.00 (€ 31,904.12).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.890,00 (€ 8.036,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Simon Denny mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Backdated NFT/Ethereum Stamp beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für USD 37.800,00 (€ 31.904,12) versteigert wurde.
