Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Mao) by Shi Xinning was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in February 2010. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,495.33), 19% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shi Xinning achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mao And Mccarthy in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 372,000.00 (€ 278,151.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Mao) von Shi Xinning wurde im Februar 2010 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 26.495,33) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shi Xinning erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mao And Mccarthy im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 372.000,00 (€ 278.151,64).
