Here, the upper estimate of GBP 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 43,250.00 (€ 47,848.09). Admittedly, works by Shi Xinning have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mao And Mccarthy in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 372,000.00 (€ 278,151.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Holiday In Venice - At The Balcony Of Ms. Guggenheim von Shi Xinning kam im Juni 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 43.250,00 (€ 47.848,09) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shi Xinning auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mao And Mccarthy im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 372.000,00 (€ 278.151,64).
