Auction result well in line with expectations
The work He Is Successful Who Grows In Purity by Shezad Dawood was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in February 2010. The price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 11,853.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shezad Dawood - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Protector, The Judge, The Majestic, which sold at auction in October 2016 for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 41,776.14).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 11.853,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
