Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Al Alim by Shezad Dawood was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in June 2017. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,811.65). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shezad Dawood - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Protector, The Judge, The Majestic, which sold at auction in October 2016 for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 41,776.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Al Alim von Shezad Dawood wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.811,65) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Shezad Dawood mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Protector, The Judge, The Majestic beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 41.776,14) versteigert wurde.
